Marina Berthing
A Premier Boating Destination on Queensland’s Coral Coast, Bundaberg Port Marina, located in Burnett Heads, Queensland, serves as the southern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and one of Australia’s most popular ports of entry for international vessels. This modern, world-class facility offers safe, all-weather access and a comprehensive range of services for recreational and visiting boaters.
Berth Layout and Capacity
The marina features approximately 200 floating berths accommodating vessels up to 50 metres in length. These berths are arranged across 9 fingers, providing a well-organised layout with dedicated working docks and areas for different vessel sizes, including multi-hull and end-tie options.
Key features include:
- Berths ranging from smaller options (around 8–14m) to larger 20m, 24m, and up to 50m berths.
- High-quality construction, ample tie points, lighting and maneuverability.
- Marina attendants are available on request during office hours.
Power and Water Services
All berths are equipped with power and fresh water, along with security lighting and courtesy Wi-Fi. Power options cater to a wide range of vessels, from small recreational boats to superyachts:
- 240V Single-Phase (10A to 15A): Standard connection for most recreational boats, trailer sailers, and small to mid-sized cruisers. Uses a standard 3-pin Australian plug.
- 240V Single-Phase (16A to 32A): Suitable for larger boats or power catamarans with higher loads for appliances, refrigeration, and battery charging.
- Three-Phase Power: Available for larger vessels, superyachts, or boats with heavy equipment. These metered connections use large round pins and are priced by consumption rather than a flat daily rate.
Purpose-built pedestals support modern power demands in newer sections throughout the marina.
Additional Facilities to Accomodate Berthing
- 24/7 Refuelling: Low-flow and high-flow diesel options, plus premium unleaded by appointment.
- Modern, clean amenities including showers, toilets, laundromat, and recycling.

- On-site businesses: Captains Chandlery, Baltimore Café & Takeaway, gift shop, and Lady Musgrave Experience tours.
- Pet-friendly with clear house rules.
- Full boat yard and hardstand with 75-tonne travel lift for maintenance and storage.
